The Connecticut Children's Medical Center is running a mass immunization drill Monday.
The event is part of the "Take Your Best Shot" flu prevention campaign.
During the 24-hour drill, employees will exercise their emergency operations plan for a pandemic influenza or bio-terrorism event. It will focus on how many employees can be immunized within a 24-hour period.
All Connecticut Children's employees are now required to have a flu shot as a condition of employment. Employees who feel that they can't get the shot because of a medical or religious reason must present superiors with written proof as to why.
