China's Ghost Cities and Malls

 China: 64 Million luxury apartments are vacant because people can't afford them. This is the result of the Communist 'command economy' which allocates resources for political ends, not in response to supply and demand. Collectivism may create the outward appearance of economic advance but it never can produce the real thing. Much of the Chinese Miracle Economy we hear so much about is a hollow facade, as these ghost cities clearly show
