In the modern era, so-called "medicine" no longer bears any resemblance to the art and science of healing. Instead of being a practice whereby your body's innate self-healing capabilities are aided, it has become a business enterprise focused solely on money. If the truth about your body's self-regenerative capabilities were acknowledged, conventional medicine would collapse overnight.
No disease is caused by the lack of a drug. In fact, many diseases are caused by repeated exposure to chemicals that are biologically alien to your body. Drug based medicine is treating poisoning with poisons -- it may be more accurate to call it a form of sorcery, rather than medicine. Hundreds of thousands of people die each year in the U.S. as a direct result of medical treatment.
