TSA Hires Criminals and Sexual Predators Without Checking Backgrounds

Infowars.com has reported numerous instances of TSA employees assaulting and stealing from passengers over the last few years. The TSA has consistently hired violent criminals and even pedophiles and there is a logical explanation for this – the agency does not follow through on background checks.
Earlier this week, a television station in Atlanta reported that the TSA is so swamped with background checks it is now hiring just about anybody to grope and irradiate the public.
"In a move that could affect security at airports around the nation, the Transportation Security Administration confirmed Wednesday it had such a backlog of background security checks, airport employers were allowed to hire any employee needed," WSBTV reports. "TSA officials said the background checks are delayed, but they are processing them as fast as they can."
Following the embarrassing news report, the TSA quickly issued a statement. "The TSA was recently made aware that a newly implemented change to the system used to process airline and airport employee background checks resulted in a delay for requests submitted through the American Association of Airport Executives. The cause of the issue was quickly identified, and TSA and AAAE have worked together to implement a solution," said TSA spokesman Jon Allen.
Allen added that the TSA has given airport employers "interim regulatory relief," government-speak for allowing them to hire people without the completed background checks.
New employees will undergo "identity verification and be subject to watchlist matching" but it is not clear if this will prevent psychopaths, sexual perverts and pedophiles from working for the agency.
"This is a joke," said Georgia Rep. Paul Broun. "This letter shows the incompetence of TSA. It shows that they cannot and are not doing the job they were instructed to do through the law."
"You can't put unsecured people or people that you haven't checked in a secured environment," security expert Brent Brown of Chesley-Brown Security told WSBTV. "By that very definition, you've breached security."
The latest revelations concerning the TSA once underscore the undeniable fact that the agency is not only incompetent and dysfunctional, but poses a threat to aviation and the traveling public at large.
Instead of addressing the issue of criminals and sexual predators working for the agency, the TSA has once again decided to engage in public relations damage control. It will continue to hire criminals and perverts and insist that molesting passengers is necessary for national security and protection against largely nonexistent terrorists.
